Get started

Finished school – what comes next?

Your training company is Florian Service für Elektrogeräte GmbH. In our ET-Tirol electrical services division, you will discover the varied work of the electrical trade.

Would you like to make things with your hands and understand how technology works? At ET-Tirol, you learn the trade from experienced electrical technicians.

Electrical installations, distribution boards, solar PV and smart homes: you work as part of a team on projects in Innsbruck and the surrounding area, gradually taking on tasks of your own.

Ready for your future? We look forward to receiving your application!

What you bring

Technical understanding

You do not need to be an electrician already – that is what the apprenticeship is for. But you should be curious and want to understand how electrical installations, appliances and modern technology work.

Your training will include:

  • Electrical installations
  • Distribution boards and protective devices
  • Fault finding and repairs
  • Solar PV systems
  • Inspections and measurements
  • Smart-home and network technology

Reliability

We need to be able to rely on you. Our customers in Innsbruck and the surrounding area expect punctual, tidy work – and so does our team.

For us, this means:

  • arriving on time at work and on site
  • reliably completing agreed tasks
  • letting us know promptly if there is a problem
  • handling tools and materials carefully

Completion of nine years of compulsory schooling

To start an apprenticeship with us, you should have completed nine years of compulsory schooling . Good grades are helpful, but your interest, willingness to learn and commitment matter more to us.

Helpful skills include:

  • basic mathematics
  • good technical understanding
  • sufficient German language skills
  • an interest in electrical engineering and technology in general

Physical fitness

Electrical work is not all done at a desk. We work in apartments, houses, businesses and on construction sites in Innsbruck and the surrounding area.

You should therefore:

  • enjoy practical work
  • be comfortable with ladders and construction sites
  • be physically able to meet the demands of the work
  • be able to carry tools or materials when needed
  • enjoy working with your hands

Working independently

Over time, you will learn to carry out tasks increasingly independently and responsibly. Our technicians will support you and teach you step by step.

What we expect from you:

  • listen carefully and think ahead
  • understand tasks rather than simply carry them out
  • ask questions when you are unsure
  • leave work areas clean
  • prepare tools and materials independently
  • take responsibility for assigned tasks
  • learn from mistakes and keep improving

Motivation & teamwork

At Florian Service, you work alongside experienced technicians from day one. We do not expect you to know everything – but we do expect you to want to learn.

We value:

  • an interest in the trade
  • respectful behaviour towards colleagues and customers
  • asking questions when something is unclear
  • following instructions carefully
  • a willingness to learn new things
  • clean and organised work
  • taking responsibility for your own work
