Understand the condition of your electrical installation: we check protective measures, document measurements and discuss any action that may be needed.
Tailored to your project
A working socket alone tells you little about the condition of an electrical installation. We inspect apartments, houses and commercial premises, and explain the results clearly.
For example, if you are uncertain about an older installation, following alterations or when preparing a property for a new tenancy.
Inspection and documentation for offices, shops, workshops, hotels and other commercial buildings.
Inspection of the affected parts following changes, such as work on distribution boards or the connection of additional electrical equipment.
Visual inspection, functional testing and measurements of the agreed installation, taking existing documents and labels into account.
Inspection of the relevant electrical installation and protective measures for solar PV and charging infrastructure.
Any defects found are documented. If required, we discuss necessary electrical work and a subsequent inspection.
Technical framework
OVE E 8101 covers the design, installation and inspection of low-voltage electrical installations. Part 6 deals with verification, including visual inspection, functional testing and electrical measurements.
The requirements applicable to your particular installation are assessed based on the system, when it was installed, subsequent changes and its use. General information therefore cannot replace an on-site inspection.

Clear, documented results
You receive a digital inspection report as a PDF. It records the agreed scope, the examinations carried out, relevant measurements and any defects found.
The requirements and inspection intervals for your installation depend on its type, use and the applicable rules. We agree on the specific inspection scope with you in advance.
An older installation is not automatically defective. We take its existing condition and later alterations into account. Please tell us at the enquiry stage if plans or earlier inspection reports are missing, as this can involve additional inspection work.

How we work together
We clarify the property, reason for the inspection and scope. Have any existing plans and earlier inspection reports ready, and provide access to the areas concerned.
We examine the agreed installation, test protection and switching functions, and carry out the required electrical measurements.
We compile the results in the inspection report and explain any defects found and appropriate next steps.
Good to know
For example, after alterations, if you are uncertain about an older installation or when preparing for a new tenancy. Whether an inspection is legally required, and which interval applies, must be clarified for the particular installation and its use.
Not automatically. Its condition, the measurements and the type of defect are what matter. We document our findings and discuss the specific action required.
